Privacy summary

SubNotify is a subscription tracking app. It helps you record your subscriptions, receive renewal reminders, and review your spending with charts and trends. SubNotify is designed so that the subscription details you enter stay on your device.

1. Who we are

SubNotify is a subscription tracker that helps you organize recurring payments, get reminded before each renewal, and understand your spending. The developer and publisher of the App is JustCode Software Development Pvt Ltd. You can contact us at contact@justcodenow.com.

2. Information we access, collect and use

We process only the information needed to provide subscription tracking and reminders, keep the App stable, fetch reference content, and show ads that support the free App. The table below summarizes what is used, why, and how it is stored or shared.

3. Content the app fetches

When your device requests this content, standard network information such as your IP address may be processed by Google to deliver it. The subscription details you create in the App remain on your device.

4. Device permissions

• Notifications: used to send local renewal reminders at the times you choose. These reminders are scheduled and generated on your device. You can enable or disable them at any time in your device settings, and the App continues to work without them.
• Network access: used to load advertisements, fetch reference content, and allow the Google services described in this policy to function.

5. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services from Google that have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data:

• Google Firebase (Core, Analytics, Remote Config and Cloud Firestore): used for app analytics, remote configuration and fetching reference content. May process device and usage information and identifiers.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): used to display non-personalized advertisements. May use an advertising identifier and limited device and usage information to show and measure ads.

6. Ads

SubNotify is supported by advertisements delivered through Google AdMob, and uses non-personalized ads. This means ads are based on general, contextual factors rather than a profile of your interests, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. AdMob may still access limited device information and an identifier for purposes such as showing ads, frequency capping, aggregate reporting and preventing fraud.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before ads are served, and you can grant or refuse consent and change it later.

You can also manage the advertising identifier on your device. On Android, open your device Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID. On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings > Privacy & Security. Because SubNotify uses non-personalized ads and does not track you across apps, it does not ask for permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

7. How we use information

• To display your subscriptions and calculate upcoming renewals and spending.
• To show charts and trends across the last 3 months, 6 months, a year, or all time.
• To schedule and deliver the local renewal reminders you set.
• To keep the App stable and functional and to understand which features are used.
• To display and measure non-personalized advertisements that support the free App.
• To provide reference content such as popular subscription suggestions.
• To respond to support requests and to comply with legal obligations where required.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share the subscription details stored on your device with anyone. We allow processing of information only as described below:

• With Google services used by the App, namely Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, Cloud Firestore) and Google AdMob.
• When required by law, legal process or government request, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
• With your consent or at your direction, such as when you choose to send us an email.

9. Data storage and security

The subscription details you enter are stored locally on your device using standard app storage, and their security depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a device passcode, biometric lock and an up to date operating system. Because we do not receive or store these details on our own systems, we cannot access, recover or restore them for you. Data collected by Google services is stored and secured by Google in accordance with its policies. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data retention and deletion

SubNotify does not require you to create an account. The subscription details you enter remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall SubNotify. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual subscriptions inside the App.
• Clearing the App's storage in your device settings (for example, on Android: Settings > Apps > SubNotify > Storage).
• Uninstalling the App to remove locally stored App data from your device.

Data processed by Google through Firebase and AdMob is retained by Google according to its own retention practices, described in Google's Privacy Policy. Support emails are retained as long as needed to respond to you, maintain records and comply with legal requirements.

11. Your choices and controls

• You can view, edit or delete any subscription directly inside the App.
• You can enable or disable notifications in your device settings; the App still works without them.
• You can clear App data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored information from your device.
• You can manage the advertising identifier and ad settings through your device's Google or Android ads settings, or limit tracking on iOS.
• You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion or assistance with privacy questions.

12. Children's privacy

SubNotify is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because SubNotify uses analytics and displays advertising, it is intended for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

13. International users and transfers

SubNotify can be used worldwide and is provided from India. The subscription details you enter stay on your device and are not transferred to us. Data collected by Google's services may be processed on servers located in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's policies and applicable safeguards.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of SubNotify after an update means you accept the revised policy.

15. Regional rights and disclosures

15.1 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent laws:

• The right to access the personal information processed about you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• The right to request deletion of your personal information.
• The right to restrict or object to certain processing.
• The right to data portability where applicable.
• The right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For the subscription details on your device, you can exercise these rights yourself by editing or deleting entries in the App, or by uninstalling it. For data processed by Google through Firebase and AdMob, you can use the ad and privacy controls described above and may exercise rights directly with Google. 15.2 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what categories of personal information are collected and the purposes for which they are used (see Section 2).
• Request access to and deletion of personal information held about you.
• Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

15.3 India and other regions

Residents of India (under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and other jurisdictions such as Brazil and Canada may have similar rights under local data protection laws, including access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent.
